Michael Gerard Tyson
Born in the New York City suburb of Brooklyn, Legendary boxer Mike Tyson was a regular visitor of Albany City where he lived with friends. Interestingly, Tyson’s debut as a professional boxer took place at the Albany Plaza Convention Center in Albany where he defeated Hector Mercedes through a Technical Knock Out in the first round. The former undisputed world heavyweight champion currently resides in Nevada.
Kirsten Gillibrand
Gillibrand is a Democratic Party politician and a rising star in the State of New York. Hamilton is fondly remembered for being one of the nation’s founding fathers and a fierce military commander during the American fight for independence. Born in the West Indies, Hamilton was married in Albany to the daughter of Philip Schuyler, a prominent continental army general.
